Alexander Wang showed denim with denim, which I would not like unless it's done in a light color. It somehow looked right. Christopher Kane kept things raw with a cropped denim jacket and some see through. Karen Walker's denim dress is a bit darker than the other two and a safer choice.
I don't think this trend will get overly popular, but with these young and talented designers, which collections have been praised, it's certainly going to be tried. We've already seen a few celebs wear it, like Sophia Bush, who stepped out in light wide leg jeans. It is a hard look since it's not as slimming as darker shades, but definitely more interesting for those sunny days.

Hmm. I've seen some nice ones in Topshop. I think its a harder denim look to pull off [my mum says they make your thighs look wider] but probably have the same summery effect of white jeans.

I am a huge fan of the washed light-blue denim trousers! I own the greatest jeans like that and they make the perfect spring outfit with a white shirt, flip-flops and a straw trilby hat!

I think it's only half a year from when that Kane collection debuted that I'm actually moving toward liking it...

i love the first look and the last. the first one looks so chic and comfortable.. i cant tell if those are ultra strtchy jeans or spandex!
usually I hate denim paired with denim but Alexander Wang has created something that doesn't look tacky or ugly

I like the pictures, but ithink in general, light wash denim is oh so tricky. It can prove to be the not most flattering on a person once the color has faded away. Although these looks are convincing me to maybe think otherwise...

I love the Karen Walker look. Hmm denim-on-denim is a tough look to pull off, so I personally hope it doesn't come back 'in' (it was in the 80s and 90s, unfortunately lol)...

pretty! it looks so much more soft and feminine
i LOVE THE VERSATILE denim..it can be frayed and treated and can beat tutu in its froth and can compete leather for its rawness....viva la denim
